About us<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We founded the Center for Social Engagement (CDA) with the intention of creating a safe space for everyone who believes that society can and must be more just. We bring together everyone who wants to strengthen their voice - women, marginalized groups, activists, journalists with the intention of connecting them with a community of support, resources and opportunities for action.
We believe that everyone has the right to a dignified life and work, freedom of speech and equal access to opportunities. Our mission is to recognize and collaborate with brave individuals and organizations that do not stand for injustice.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nata\u0161a Bjelic, coordinator for education and inclusion<\/strong><\/h4><\/div>

Born in Zrenjanin, graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad, at the Department of Serbian Literature and Language. Since 2001, he has been working in education, in primary education.

During her work, she professionally improved herself in the field of monitoring and evaluating the quality of school work, developing planning and improving teaching methods. She participated in the evaluation of textbooks for primary schools, believing that quality education must be available to all.

In addition to her work in the classroom, she is dedicated to humanitarian work, helping children and people from vulnerable social groups. For her, education is the path to freedom, and inclusion is the only true foundation of a just society.

Jelena Mandi\u0107, coordinator for education and community development<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4><\/div>

School professor and master of civil engineering. A passionate lover of mathematics, music, books and comics - she believes that knowledge and culture permeate and strengthen each other.

He dedicates his work to education that does not stop at the classroom: through conversation, creative projects and examples from life, he inspires students to discover their talents and think boldly.

He enjoys walking, hiking, swimming and skiing, finding inspiration in nature and togetherness. He believes that the true power of education lies in its ability to connect people and create opportunities for all.

Tatjana To\u0161kov Tati\u0107, coordinator for care and assistance, work with the elderly<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4><\/div>

Collaborator in the local community, care and assistance work with the elderly and sick, has eighteen years of experience in journalism and activism. After working in the media in Zrenjanin and Majdanpek, she dedicated herself to the community through independent engagement and support for those who need help the most.

Today, he dedicates his professional path to the elderly and sick. She is guided by the belief that dignity, care and compassion are not a privilege, but the right of every human being. He finds inspiration in human closeness, in conversations and small everyday gestures that restore meaning and warmth to life.

Ivana Gordi\u0107 Perc, coordinator for media and community development<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4><\/div>

Journalist, deals with labor and human rights; reports on the position of marginalized communities, especially in Zrenjanin and Banat, where he believes that every local story has wider social significance.

He believes that by giving voice to invisible, "ordinary" heroes and heroines, he can build a bridge between people and the society in which they live: he opens topics that are often pushed under the carpet and tries to make journalism an act of solidarity and courage.

She is the winner of several domestic and international awards, the most important of which are the "Katarina Preradovi\u0107" and the Solidarity Award.

Journalism is publishing what one does not want published. Everything else is public relations.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
